The menu items are set in the "Menu Manager". Log in to your Joomla site's administrator control panel. Go to "Menus" then click on the menu you wish to edit. Then click on the menu item you wish to edit. Then change the text in the "Title:" box as desired. Next delete the text from the "Alias:" box. And finally, click save to make the changes stick.
