Why choose Joomla! over some other content management system?

We have researched a number of competing content management systems. Many are well suited to specific applications. However, Joomla! is by far the most widely used and supported content management system currently available. With approximately 20,000 downloads per day, over 15 million downloads since March 2007 at the time of this writing, a very active support forum with over 361,000 members averaging 1100 posts per day, over 4200 third party extensions and a vibrant development team, Joomla! is, in our opinion the best choice for all but the most specialized applications.

If your primary objective is a traditional blog with little or no thought of publishing lots of editorial content and/or no desire to sell products you may find WordPress a better fit.

If your project rquires content management by many thousands of contributors with specialized security needs then you may need a more robust, enterprise level content manager.

We use and support both Joomla and WordPress, for both client and in-house applications. Our knowledgeable staff is eager to provide the answers you need to make an informed decision. If you are uncertain about whether Joomla, WordPress or some other CMS would best fit your projcet, please submit a support ticket including your project requirements. One of our technicians will respond with specific answers to your specific questions. Remember you must login to the Client Area before you can submit a support ticket.
