How to change the order of menus and other modules.

The order and position of modules like, menus, the login form, site search, etc. is controlled in the Module Manager. Log in to your Joomla site's administrator control panel, then click on "Extensions", then "Module Manager".  You will then see a list of installed modules. You can change the order of modules by clicking he green, up and down arrows in the "order" column for a particular module. This workds well if you wish to move a single module up or down one position on the page. More sweeping changes can be made by typing order numbers in to the order input boxes for one or more modules. Don't forgot to save the new order by clicking the "Save Order" icon at the top of the Order column. It looks like an old style floppy disk.  The module order will be instantly changed.
